20240517T0900 20240517T0945 America/Chicago Comparing Resource Recommender to Discovery Import Profiles for Suggested Databases and Guides My institution has used Discovery Import Profiles for displaying Springshare LibGuides and A-Z Database listings in Primo since we migrated to Alma/Primo four years ago. Recent enhancements to the Resource Recommender search querying have prompted us to investigate that feature for database and subject guide linking instead. While the Discovery Import Profiles have the benefit of running automatically overnight, the Resource Recommender offers more customization and will always display at the top of search results if it matches a keyword. These two features will be compared and contrasted in terms of staff time and workflows as well as usability in the Primo search results.
