20240517T1100 20240517T1145 America/Chicago Getting Rialto Right the Second Time With goals of streamlining ordering and making fund balances more accessible at the point of ordering, our library chose to implement Rialto in January 2023. After this initial attempt stalled due to a combination of personnel, time and budget constraints, our second implementation in September 2023 led to the establishment of a new, alternative ordering platform. Improvements include full transparency through the entire ordering process, faster activation of many titles and a streamlined notification workflow. In this presentation we will describe what finally helped our subsequent implementation succeed, how ordering has changed, and plans for encouraging additional selectors to migrate.
