The Alma Authority Focus Group has been working closely with ExLibris over the past few years to enhance authority control functionaliy. This collaborative effort has brought product managers in direct contact with customers as they have worked through issues associated with the control of headings. We will discuss our process and present our current project, a model of partial linking using a spreadsheet and a chain of logic. We will also talk about new features that have been implemented based on the group's feedback and new features that will be coming in the next few years.
