In January 2024, CUNY began sharing physical resources with The State University of New York (SUNY), which uses the Peer-to-Peer resource sharing model. The integration between these two models was not perfect but CUNY managed to find solutions that required minimal compromise to streamline access to SUNY's physical resources.
