We implemented a course navigation-type LTI app in Canvas that uses course information transferred by Canvas via POST to query the Primo Search API, and creates a display of any titles currently on reserve for the course. Automated course loading ensures that the unique course ID found in the Canvas course code exists in the Alma course as a searchable ID. What results is a lightweight, non-Leganto solution to integrating Alma resources into Canvas that requires no ongoing maintenance beyond working with Alma course reserves itself. I'll show the various pieces of this implementation and point to a few hiccups we've encountered.
