Alma’s Collections feature allows customers to aggregate a set of local catalog records, usually related through a common theme or subject matter, grouped under a single collection-level bibliographic record. Until late 2022, those curated collections were discoverable only via Primo, so Alma customers using Summon had no way to display those collections to their users. The November 2022 Summon release introduced Collection Discovery, allowing Alma Collections to be linked in Summon as well as Primo. In this presentation, librarians from two Summon Over Alma sites will describe how their respective libraries have implemented Collection Discovery.
