Minitex (a regional multi-type consortium) is the interlibrary loan lending partner for the University of Minnesota Libraries. The presenters will discuss a Minitex project to integrate license term information into Mira, a locally developed request management system. The two organizations worked to clean up license agreements in Alma, determine relevant license terms, set up and test the Alma API to call for license information, and implemented a system to provide automated, real-time license information for shareable resources. These efforts to leverage our tools and technologies resulted in a more efficient and accurate lending workflow.
