Learning analytics is the measurement, collection, analysis, and reporting of student learning data to understand, improve, and support learning and student success. Caliper Analytics from 1EdTech enables institutions to collect learning data from digital resources in a standardized way to better understand and visualize learning activity. At last year’s ELUNA annual meeting, the presenters, in partnership with Ex Libris, 1EdTech, Unizin, and campus IT presented their work to create "caliperized" Leganto University of Minnesota student usage data using the new Caliper Library Profile. Since May 2023, the presenters and partners have successfully piloted the deposit of that data into the Unizin Data Platform for the Spring 2024 semester. This session will continue our project story providing updated project planning, the continued focus on student data privacy, the project data dashboard, and the next steps of the pilot project.
