When new staffers arrive in our Consortium for electronic resource management (ERM) work, they sometimes wonder why Alma and the CDI results in Primo don't behave like another primary discovery product that lets users find and link to articles. Hear an experienced ERM staffer explain why there are significant differences between an un-named product and Alma/CDI/Primo. She will provide a high-level overview of how CDI activations work for journals and their articles. She will also touch a little on how Ex Libris gets data about content and content metadata.
