Creating a Discovery environment that responds to all these needs as well as maintaining a fully bilingual client service is challenging but has also led to creative and useful solutions. Starting with the library’s data itself, we have customized the Discovery experience to highlight our unique collection, differentiate between the special types of material we hold and promote our collections in the catalogue and through other tools. This presentation provides a brief overview of the Library of Parliament’s role, explains the rationale and process that led to our current configuration and gives specific details of the customizations the library made. These changes range from simple configuration choices to coding changes, metadata concessions and custom functions.Marquette VI/VIIEx Libris Knowledge Days and ELUNA Events 2024eluna-conf-planning@exlibrisusers.org
