Title Matching Fast: Reclaim Space and Expand Electronic Access With Print-to-Ebook Matching Services

Session Information

Are you about to undertake a weeding project? Do you need to fill collection gaps or expand access for course materials? Have budget to spend but short on time? Join this session to learn how your library can benefit from ProQuest’s free Title Matching Fast (TMF) service, a time-tested process that helps you match your print holdings to electronic titles without the hassle of spending hours searching. Learn how Binghamton University Library is using the TMF service to support space enhancements and collection moves, replace lost or missing items in the library, and assist with gap analysis projects. We’ll also share additional use cases such as upgrading old print books to newer edition ebooks and making selections for a one-time spend opportunity. Understand how TMF works with Ex Libris solutions, including Alma and Leganto, to accurately match your print holdings to “e” versions and quickly identify physical books referenced in course reading lists that are available electronically to maximize the availability of course materials.
