For digital collections, most software seems designed to meet a small set of needs which over time can lead to multiple instances of software or hidden collections with varied discoverability. Add in efforts to implement systems for the preservation of these digital collections and you have a recipe for complications. An integration between the Rosetta and Alma systems offered a way to untangle the mess of past systems and workflows and begin creating a new path forward that benefits both staff and end-users. From small efforts to provide access to digital material not suitable for most digital collection systems to large efforts combining Rosetta, Alma, and Primo VE, panelists will discuss workflows which allow access to digital material and facilitate decision-making processes across departments.
