Learn how Primo interacts with Ex Libris' Central Discovery Index to provide users with electronic access to your licensed vendor content. In this session, we will begin with an overview of CDI in Primo and a brief discussion of the CDI configuration options in the Electronic Collection Editor in Alma. We will also cover how to troubleshoot problems in Primo that are related to CDI, such as how to use the CDI Activation Analysis Tool to determine the source from Alma that is providing full-text entitlement for a particular search result that is not expected to be available as full text. Finally, we will discuss how your libraries can make the most of recently developed optional CDI features in Primo, such as Quicklinks, Unpaywall, and Normalized Subject Headings.
