JHU Sheridan Libraries have developed Alma Cloud Apps that are being used by our Library Service Center for inventory management. The Cloud Apps allowed us to keep existing workflows going in our offsite storage immediately after go-live with Alma during our LMS migration. By leveraging the addition of Storage Location ID to items in Alma and custom Cloud Apps we were able to avoid using any additional inventory management software. Using Cloud Apps let us develop these apps without worrying about API call limits or client installations. This presentation will detail the experience of developing, maintaining, and running these Cloud Apps in production.
